Notes on ZOOM
Thank you for choosing one of my Zoom options for meeting face-to-face. If you have never used Zoom before, you may have some concerns and questions.
There is no need to download Zoom onto any device. All you have to do is follow the link in your confirmation email and you will automatically be logged into the correct session.
You will need to click through a few steps. First, accept the use of the camera on your device by Zoom.. There will be a short wait in the “Waiting Room” while the link to me is established. Finally, you will allow Zoom to use your device’s audio. At that point, we will be connected and ready to start our time together.
Zoom sessions have a “Chat” option built in. (Found at the bottom of your screen.) That means if either of us has a question or comment during our session, we can feed each other information without interrupting the video interaction if the need arises.
There is also the option to record our time together. There is no extra charge for this, but it does require a short interaction between myself and an adult present on your end. Zoom software does have some limitations which we can discuss in our correspondence.
